Top three things we like about PCS software is they’re cloud based, very easy access for all my employees, and fairly easy to train people on that.
We use PCS Express because it’s one software for dispatching and accounting, and we’re a carrier plus a broker, and so we needed something that was integrated.
Well, it saves time because you can duplicate loads. It can take like 10 seconds to enter a load and then go to your next and dispatch it. It’s just simplistic.
Change is inevitable. It’s made the growth process much smoother, much easier.
You can run one truck company with their software, with one license, or you could be a thousand truck company, and they’ll cater to your size.
Much faster technology, of course, when we were doing it manually, there’s no way we could do then what we’re doing now. We used to use everything on paper. I mean, our dispatchers would handwrite everything on paper, pass it to the accounting department, and now it’s all integrated. Why would you not use it?
I gotta say the easiest part that separates them from everybody else that we’ve looked at, they’ve basically taken the best of all those programs that put it together as one.
We have a lot of people that work for us that are not those computer savvy type people, but they’ve had no problems whatsoever learning the product.
Gary and them came over one day and taught us the system, and that’s all it took that one day.
The reports that they offer, give you a lot of insight and depth. The way that you can compare the rate that you’re getting for freight versus the rates that your other competitors are getting is very beneficial.
PCS TMS has helped us be more efficient so I can concentrate on other things in the office and not have to worry about the software.
We’ll be with PCS for a very long time and I recommend it.
