Chris Poelma, CEO

From mobile software founder to CEO and Board Director of PCS Software, Chris Poelma spent more than three decades developing innovative, high-growth businesses in the technology industry.   

Prior to joining PCS, Chris was President and General Manager of NCR Small Business, driving growth in cloud-based, point-of-sale solutions, and pioneering technology advancement and adoption in the financial tech industry.    

Before his tenure with NCR, Chris founded QwikCart®, an innovative mobile software company providing businesses and consumers access to powerful retailing, transportation and entertainment solutions.  Chris was also co-founder and CTO for US Internetworking (now AT&T Enterprise Application Services) and helped take that company public. 

Masterful in the art of driving successful startups. Chris successfully led five startup software companies to successful liquidity events as CEO, including ControlPath, Comprehensive Software Systems (CSS), and Magellan Network. Additionally, Chris has held executive roles within industry giants, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and EDS. Over the course of his career, Chris has closed over $70 Million in private equity.  

Chris holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Wyoming.  He enjoys riding his motorcycle and is an avid runner, enjoying what he refers to as “trail meditation,” forty plus miles each week.

Paul Beavers, CTO

Paul joined PCS Software as CTO in 2020 bringing more than 30 storied years of pioneering experience to this critical role.  An expert in cloud computing, computer systems architecture, AI and Machine Learning innovation, Paul has held C-level positions in technology, R&D and product management capacities for large enterprises such as Amoco and BMC.  

In his current capacity leading the design and development of the PCS Software platform, Paul is leading the organization and the industry in the advancement of supply chain digitization, process automation, and integrated data systems architecture development.   An AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Microsoft Azure certified, Mr. Beavers is passionate about developing emerging technologies designed to help medium-to-large sized businesses improve operational excellence and profitability. 

Paul holds a B.S. in computer science and enjoys spending time with his family on the Texas Gulf Coast, fishing, boating and photographing scenes of natural beauty.

Janet Heppner-Jones, CRO

Janet joined PCS Software as the Chief Revenue Officer in 2021 and brings an impressive, extensive volume of experience in enterprise software sales and marketing to the role.  Most recently, Janet held the position of Senior Vice President, Americas Sales for the enterprise software product group at ABB. 

Janet’s deep expertise in STEM disciplines sets her apart from her industry peers and has driven her success across numerous leadership roles including Chief Executive, SVP, VP and General Manager for a veritable who’s who of leading software company brands including SAP and Ariba. 

Spanning her notable career, Janet was a sales leader for IBM, before accepting a position with SAP, leading global sales teams for the western region, ultimately advancing to lead High Tech, A&D and ultimately headed all manufacturing within the $550 million business unit.  Serving as CEO for two Silicon Valley startups in the 1990s prepared Janet for leading high growth start-ups. 

Results oriented and a natural leader, she brings seasoned perspectives to the task of driving revenue at PCS. 

Janet holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Colorado, Denver. 

Grill Master and Customer Care Guru

Alan Shaw, CCO

Alan Shaw joined PCS Software in 2021 as Chief Customer Officer, with responsibility for implementations, support, and customer success, as well as PCS’s internal project management office and business operations.

Alan brings 20 years of experience in software and services helping customers to deploy, adopt, and realize value from technology investments. Most recently, he worked for BMC Software in leadership roles spanning Operations, Customer Experience, and Corporate Initiatives.  Prior to joining BMC, Alan was a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Strategy practice, supporting clients on marketing, pricing, supply chain & operations, and M&A projects. He started his career working for Amoco Chemicals and BP in operational and sales roles.

Alan has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Emory University. Outside of work, Alan enjoys traveling with his wife and two sons, volunteering with his family at the Houston Food Bank, cooking family dinners, and watching Notre Dame football.

Putting Pro and Channel Growth Expert

Mayur Shah, VP of Channel Sales

Mayur Shah joined PCS Software in 2021 as Vice President of Channel Sales.  He came most recently from DocuSubmit, where he was the CEO, driving the Engineering, Marketing and Sales of an FDA Regulatory software product for vaccine and drug development. 

Mayur has been in the software Industry for over 25 years in product management, engineering, channels, and sales at both small companies starting his own company, Caarma, and growing it rapidly and selling it to SAP.  Mayur also worked at SAP for 9 years ultimately as the President for a new division of SAP, SAP Markets creating the partnerships needed to be successful and execute bringing together buyers and sellers in the supply chain. Mayur’s knowledge of the business, combined with his technical ability and understanding of the whole business ecosystem will help us PCS drive our Channel strategy to the next level.  

Mayur holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from San Jose State University with Graduate work in Business Administration. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Lori Marwill, VP Controller

Lori Marwill joined PCS as Vice President Controller in May 2021. She is a senior leader in the Finance and Accounting arena with over 25 years of experience, predominantly in Financial Services.  

In addition to traditional Senior Controllership roles, Lori has extensive experience in projects related to company consolidations, integrations, system implementations, and workflow design.  

Lori is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BBA from Texas A&M University. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and scuba diving.

Julie Harrison, Sr. Director of HR

Responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategy, Julie Harrison joined PCS in August 2021 to help support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent, organizational and performance management. She serves as an advocate for both employees and the business.  

Prior to joining PCS, she has been a key recruiting team member at Sogeti, Openlink, P97 and most recently at CGI where she helped recruit 300 professional service employees in a period of 2 years. Harrison joined the PCS team because of the rapid growth potential and that we focused on the transportation and logistics domain during an industry paradigm change. 

Harrison holds an MBA from the University of Houston and her BBA in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management and she is also a member of the Society of Human Resource management (SHRM). Outside of work she likes to travel the world and see exotic animals, remodel her home, and devote time to her family, especially her grandkids. Labeled herself as a “foodie” she also loves to try new restaurants.

Lora Hillebrand, Director of Strategy

Lora Hillebrand personifies the opportunities for career growth and advancement offered by PCS Software.  Beginning her tenure with PCS in 2014 as an Administrative Assistant, her meritorious performance has propelled her advancement through the organization.  Having proven her mettle as an Accounting Specialist, ISO Compliance Manager, HR Manager and PMO Director, Ms. Hillebrand ascended to the current role of Director of Strategy. Before joining PCS, Lora worked for the Woodlands Joint Powers Agency, assisting with The Woodlands Mud Taxes. 

Lora credits her achievement within the PCS organization to the company’s supportive and affirming work environment which enabled her to develop a more fulsome understanding of her capabilities and ultimately her career trajectory. Possessing a natural gift for organization and process, Lora earned certification as a SAFe 5 Practitioner, an ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor, and holds two Project Management Certifications.  She also retains Human Resources and Technical Writing certifications from the University of Houston. 

She also contributed to achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification for PCS in 2018 and was voted 2018 PCS Employee of the Year.  A wife and mother, Lora enjoys time away from the office with her family and her Catahoula hound, Lily, fishing on the lake and hanging out by the pool.
