Managing Customers
You can easily setup all the detailed information you could possibly want to record about any customer. Customers can be setup on-the-fly as you input freight orders or accounting transactions. You can also setup a custom rating schedule for each of your customers as well as other default information that will make data entry go even faster.
Invoices
Express lets you create very polished invoices for non-dispatch related billing also. Not only can you create generic invoices from this screen, you can also pull up payment histories and modify your existing invoices right from this screen.
Load Billing/E-Mail Billing
Whether you run five trucks or five hundred trucks there is no faster or easier way to do your billing. You can edit and re-rate loads on the fly or you can let Express rate your loads and accessorials for you. Express can also audit your loads for necessary information as well as for necessary documentation. Express creates five different types of highly detailed invoices that can be printed or mass emailed, with or without backup.
Collections
Express will coordinate all of your collections activities. Express documents dates, times and names involved in collections and lets you track unapplied funds, apply write-offs or other adjustments, send collection letters and manage the people doing these collections all from one screen.
Managing Vendors
You can easily setup all the detailed information you could possibly want to record about any vendor. Vendors can be setup on-the-fly as you input transactions or you can edit them directly from your vendor list which is accessible from the menu or hot-keys. You can setup a default expense accounts for each of your vendors as well as other default information that will make data entry go even faster.
Inputting Bills
Inputting bills is a snap. Select the vendor and enter the specifics of the charge. If the bill is from a carrier, click Carrier Pay to see all of the unpaid loads your dispatchers setup for the carrier. Or PO Pay to see all of the pending purchase orders for that vendor.
Paying Bills
Express A/P has several tools that make bill paying fast and easy. You can get aging pop-ups which tell you which vendors have bills that have reached a certain age. Paying individual bills involves dragging your mouse over all the bills you want to pay and clicking Post. That's it.

Express Accounting has excellent Journal Entry features that make managing your General Ledger easy.
Recurring Entries
Express makes light work of those transactions that happen repeatedly. Truck payments, rents and other recurring transactions can be setup to occur with any frequency and with cutoff dates and amounts as well.
Writing Checks
In trucking this is one function that gets used a lot. So it has to be easy and fast. You can create a check in just a few seconds with just a few keystrokes.
Making Deposits
You can create deposits from the funds received in A/R or you can simply input any checks or cash you wish to deposit. Each deposit is verified and totaled for balancing against your bank statement. You can also print a report showing deposit details or even a deposit slip on pre-printed forms.
Reconciling Bank Accounts
Balancing your bank statement will no longer take days. This reconciliation rivals the most popular reconciliation systems available any where. You can record service charges and interest earned and then clear your checks using a very simple screen that organizes your transactions the same way your bank organizes them.
Managing Personnel
There is always a pretty massive amount of information that goes into generating payroll checks. Express tracks all the information necessary to calculate any withholding amounts.
Processing Payroll
Processing an individual's paycheck takes just a few seconds. The taxes, if applicable are already in place. Advances, reimbursements and non-tax deductions are one click away and load pay is as easy as checking off which loads you want to pay.
Payroll Taxes
Express will calculate all federal and state withholding amounts. It will also calculate employer taxes. At the end of the quarter it will calculate and print 940s, 941s and Schedule Bs. Then at the end of the year Express will print your 1099s and W2s.
Advances and Escrow
Express has powerful advances management features that allow you to run multiple advance accounts and even issue advances on-the-fly in Dispatch. It's always easy to get a final tally of what drivers have coming and what they owe.
